Dear students,
The AV rental will be CLOSED during holidays, from 18.12.2023 to 1.1.2024 (inclusive). In the new year, the rental will operate during its standard opening hours according to the current operating hours for the autumn semester 2023.
All active rentals must be returned by no later than Friday, 15.12.2023. (If we didnt agree otherwise in the meantime.)
You can still borrow equipment for your assignments, theses, or internships for the duration of the holidays. However, please inform me PERSONALLY beforehand about such intentions, and we will arrange a return date.
I wish you all a wonderful Christmas, good luck and strength during the exam period, and I look forward to seeing you in 2024. 
For educational purposes and thesis projects, students can borrow audiovisual equipment. The operating rules, which define the rights and obligations of rental users, are in effect.
If you are unable to return the equipment (due to serious reasons such as illness), please write us at jakub.doubek@mail.muni.cz; otherwise, you will be subject to late return penalties.

In general, for those who will frequently use equipment for coursework and the completion of seminar or thesis projects during their studies, we highly recommend purchasing liability insurance for potential damages.
