AV Equipment Rental

For educational purposes and thesis projects, students can borrow audiovisual equipment. The operating rules, which define the rights and obligations of rental users, are in effect.

If you are unable to return the equipment (due to serious reasons such as illness), please write us at jakub.doubek@mail.muni.cz; otherwise, you will be subject to late return penalties.

Please note that the rental will be CLOSED:

• January 16, 2026 (practical final bachelor's exam)
• January 26–28, 2026 (defense of final bachelor's theses)
• February 10–11, 2026 (department off-site meeting)

Opening hours in the spring semester 2026:

The only exception so far is the week of May 18-21, 2026 (the first week of the exam period), when the rental office will only be open in the morning, i.e. from 10:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.

In general, for those who will frequently use equipment for coursework and the completion of seminar or thesis projects during their studies, we highly recommend purchasing liability insurance for potential damages.
