This lecture presents the results from a college based four-nation survey (Sweden, USA, Canada, and Germany). The sample comprises 2,690 participants (53% women, 47% men) and the study focuses on experiences of using the internet for sexual purposes, what activities men and women in these countries engage in. In addition, the outcomes of using the internet for sexual purposes are presented and includes an analysis of qualitative data as well. There will be time for questions at the end of the lecture.

Přednášející: Prof. Kristian Daneback
Dr Kristian Daneback is a Full Professor at the Department of Social Work, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. His research interest is how new technologies influences various social phenomena and aspects of everyday life. So far the topics have been on sexuality and the internet, parenting and the internet and cyberbullying. Another focus is methodological where he has investigated how technology can be used for data collection. Kristian is Associate Editor of the journal Cyberpsychology: Journal of Psychosocial Research on Cyberspace.
